This cart works like a dream. The crank is smooth and makes putting your hose away- easy! The workmanship is top notch and looks like it will last a long time.

The cart seems sturdy enough to handle the demands of residential and maybe even light commercial usage. The large wheels make it very easy to move around even when fully loaded... much easier than those all-plastic carts with the small plastic wheels. The large drum handle makes for easy work of winding long hoses. I have not used the cart long enough to comment about durability so my rating is based primarily on assembly and design. The only two complaints I have so far are: 1) The hose connection on the drum is not aligned with the natural angle of the hose, requiring the hose to be tightly bent in order to attach to the fitting. A more angled connector, possibly a 90 degree elbow, would work better. 2) The product bolts together leaving many openings for water/moisture intrusion and internal rusting. This is not a recipe for longevity, particular for an outdoor product exposed to the elements. I sealed all the bolt holes with silicone during assembly but for the price of this cart a factory solution would have been appreciated.

Never will I buy a plastic reel again as we use our reels everyday on the job. I belive this is built well enough to stand the use and bouncing around.

I am very pleased with the quality and incredible price. A well know large home store is selling the exact same Liberty Hose Reel for almost twice the price.
