I purchased this hose reel to replace a broken old one that easily tipped over and was difficult to wind back up. I use it for watering plants, washing the car, hosing down the porch, etc. The reeling action works like a charm! There is plenty of length to the hose so that you don't have to hook two hoses together. It came with quick disconnects, which is great if you frequently change back and forth from a spray nozzle to soaker hose. It will leak a bit after the hose is reeled back in, so just make sure that the main water valve is turned off when you're finished. My husband and I like it so much that we are ordering one more for our use and two as gifts.

Searched for a reasonably priced hose reel that was completely enclosed, but not too large. This fit perfectly. Supplied with hose and quick-disconnect couplings. Easy to use and store. Great product!

I ordered two of these, and when I saw how easy they are to use, ordered a third. Have them in the back for raised garden & herbs, on the side for flowers, and in front for shrubs & ground cover.

I ordered two of these from HoseReelSource.com, to replace very heavy hoses that I've been using for watering plants/garden in the back and side of my house. Once they were set up, and I used them for the first time, I knew that I had to have a third ... to replace the constantly tangled curly hose that I use to water plants at our entryway. This hose is easy to use. The only "con" that I can find is that the actual instructions don't show that you must remove the (phillips-head) screw to unlock the reel.

My husband fell on my previous backyard FastReel (chasing our toddler), so I needed to replace it fast. The quick-release hookups work well with all standard equipment, so I can run this into the soaker hoses or the rotary sprinkler as well as my multi-function spray handle (jet spray for washing the car!). Absolutely the best self-storage watering hose I've ever used.
